Mestalla provides fantastic welcome for VCF Legends
The fans turned back the clock for some of Valencia CF's most recognisable heroes of the past century
Ahead of their exhbition game against the Spain Legends at Mestalla, the VCF Legends team were given the welcome they deserved upon their arrival at the stadium on Sunday evening.
The fans were out in force in anticipation of a glimpse of their idols, and the atmosphere was given a further boost inside the stadium: A band consisting of musicians from several different regional groups gave a lap of honour and belted out songs such as 'Happy Birthday' for the crowd to sing along.
Those in attendance were also able to hear from the VCF Legends thanks to a very special interviewer: Former goalkeeper Santi Cañizares.
